Riding the Ridge Trail

It seems sad that I didn't ride my bike above 8,000 feet until August 1, but the real tragedy of the situation didn't hit home until I got up there and saw what I'd been missing.

I rode from the top of the Alpine Loop

over to the South Fork Little Deer Creek Trail Number 252

which I rode down

until it crossed the Cascade Springs Road and then climbed back up to the top of the loop.

It was a beautiful day, a beautiful trail and a lot more fun than I usually get in before 9 AM.
